We’ve updated our Sole Society review to reflect the new changes announced by them yesterday. As of yesterday, they announced that they will no longer be requiring members to take any sort of action at the start of each month. Before yesterday, if you had purchased something on Sole Society in the past you were required to either purchase one of your stylist selections or opt to “skip this month” before the 6th of each month. If you did not do either of these, your credit card would be charged a $49.95 fee and a credit would have been added to your account.
This is similar to how most shoe clubs operate, but Sole Society decided to do away with this so you no longer have to worry about logging in each month and skipping the month if you don’t want to make a purchase. We are big fans of this change and wish more shoe clubs would do the same. Our review has been updated and Sole Society’s overall score has improved some due to this change.
